Three Words That I’m Tired of Hearing

In no special order.
1. Chia-Pet
2. Google
3. iPod

I wanna know who buys those insane Chia-Pets! Is it a gift for people who you hate?

My mistake: This is the holiday gift for people who you hate. Direct from my home state — Georgia.

Speaking of Books . . .

In the tradition of The Darwin Awards (the Web site), a book has been written based on the blog PostSecrets.com. I think it’s gonna be a winner. To order the book from Amazon, click here.

The Google Story

That’s the title of a new book. I just read it and while the Google story is fascinating, this book is infinitely boring. While there are some interesting items in the book, here’s a typical piece of crap from the book: “Bathrooms have extravagant, touchpad-controlled toilets with six levels of heat for the seat and automated washing, drying, and flushing without the need for toilet paper.”

You can tell that this Washington Post writer does not share in the Internet excitement. If you go to the above Web site, you will not find a blog, his e-mail address, or any interesting information.

Since this book will never hit my bookshelf, if you’d like my copy for free, it’s yours. Just send me an e-mail @ MyYahoo account. Oh yeah, since I’m into incredible Web sites, the new owner of this book needs to send an incredible Web site with the e-mail. The person who sends the most incredible Web site will be the proud owner of “The Google Story.”

If you use Firefox, you can customize many features in Google. For example, I never see Google’s ads — I block ‘em. Another nice feature, when you do a search, with one more click you can search Yahoo, AskJeeves and other search engines. There are many other features — just customize Google.
