This site, Incredible Internet is a Qwest Communications site. As Qwest’s Incredible Internet Guy, I advise kids, parents and teachers about the Wonders of the Web. If you’re one of those, you might want to check out all the stuff we have @ the site.

We just posted the lesson plan for Wikipedia and have a lot of information about online safety, identity theft and many incredible sites for the Connected Family.

The New York Times Does Video

Podcasting might be “the word of the year”, but I’m a whole lot more juiced about video. I think the Times needs more content, but the trend is starting. Hold on tight: 2006 is going to be an interesting year for convergence.

I can’t believe it: This is the type of site that I’ve been in search of for years. No joke. Media site says: “Linking you to the world of expertise.” It’s only a beginning, I’m incredibly excited.

Gotta go: There’s a Jack Welch interview I want to watch.

I have no clue where I was when Princess Diana died. However, 25-years later, I know exactly where I was when John Lennon died — teaching a course in Orlando, Florida.

This blog says it best: “Where Beatles Fans Refuse To Let It Be…” — Imagine.

I Hate Voice Mail

Prior to entering the Internet space (1996), I owned a voice mail business — VIP (Voice Information Processing). Would you believe, when I started, we had to explain voice mail to people.

Here’s the one thing that bugs me about voice mail: After listening to an individual’s message, the voice mail system kicks in and offers many options. Here’s the only option that should exist — BEEP. Collectively, just think how much time has been wasted listening to all those stupid options.

The above site lists large companies and how to get to a human being. Did I say, I hate voice mail?

The Grey Lady is Blogging

The New York Times has its branded blog. Fortunately, it does not look like About.com’s “non-blog” site. They’ve done a nice job. One area that needs a little work — its link section.
