. . . I’m very familiar with widgets. However, back in the dark ages (when I was in college) we did not have Yahoo! Widgets. A while back, Yahoo purchased this product — Konfabulator. It’s one of those apps. that I tested and uninstalled, but you might enjoy its Mac-look-and-feel.
